Superbike: Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the special edition of its popular superbike Hayabusa in the Indian market. The company has introduced this new model in special Pearl Vigor Blue color. Along with this, the regular Hayabusa has also been updated with three new dual color options. The starting ex-showroom price of the new Hayabusa is Rs 18.99 lakh, while the special edition has been priced at Rs 19.90 lakh.
Anodized finish has been given on the muffler end and heat guard of the bike. The company has given single-seat cowl as standard along with special edition. This makes the look of Hayabusa appear more sporty.
Hayabusa will also be available in three new colors
Apart from the special edition, the regular Hayabusa has also been introduced in three new dual-tone colours. These include:
Candy Daring Red / Glass Sparkle Black
Metallic Galaxy Gray / Candy Burnt Gold
Pearl Vigor Blue / Pearl Brilliant White
Changes to improve riding
Some technical changes have been made to improve the riding experience in the new Hayabusa and Special Edition. It has a new EL Lithium-ion battery. It is lighter and smaller than the old battery. The company says that this helps in providing more stable voltage at the time of load.
Apart from this, changes have also been made in the settings of the launch control system and power mode selector of the bike. Its smart cruise control now continues to work even while changing gears. This reduces the need for the rider to adjust the throttle frequently and the bike continues to run at the fixed speed.
The bike is equipped with 1,340 cc engine
Suzuki Hayabusa gets a 1,340 cc fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, inline 4-cylinder DOHC engine. According to the company, this engine gives good torque and helps the bike to reach high speed.
The bike has an aluminum frame and swingarm. Apart from this, it has adjustable KYB inverted front forks. The bike has been provided with Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S22 tyres. Braking is handled by two 320 mm full-floating discs at the front with Brembo Stylema calipers.

The new Suzuki Hayabusa and its special edition are available at Suzuki Motorcycle India dealerships across the country. The ex-showroom price of the regular Hayabusa is Rs 18.99 lakh, while the special edition is priced at Rs 19.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The company is also providing genuine accessories and Hayabusa riding gear with both the models.
