New Delhi. Due to the negative environment created by weak global signals and the sharp rise in the price of crude oil in the international market, there is tremendous pressure in the domestic stock market during early trading today.
Today’s trading also started with a decline. Shortly after the market opened, all-round selling started, due to which the weakness of both the Sensex and Nifty indices kept increasing.
After the trading till 10 am amid continuous buying and selling in the market, Sensex was trading with a fall of 0.80 percent and Nifty was trading with a fall of 0.78 percent. BSE Sensex opened today at 72,633.68 points with a decline of 138.04 points or 0.19 percent.
Due to minor buying immediately after the market opening, this index jumped by almost 50 points from the opening level to reach 72,684.90 points. After this, there was tremendous selling pressure in the market, due to which the Sensex kept falling.
Due to continuous selling, this index slipped by more than 700 points in the first half hour of trading and reached the level of 72,064 points.
However, after this the buyers tried to create buying pressure, due to which there was a slight improvement in the movement of this index.
After trading till 10 am amid continuous buying and selling in the market, Sensex was trading at 72,186.21 points, falling by 585.51 points or 0.80 percent.
Like the Sensex, NSE’s Nifty today fell 47.80 points or 0.21 percent and started trading at the level of 22,732.45 points.
Due to minor buying immediately after the market opening, this index jumped by about 21 points from the opening level to 22,753.20 points. After this the selling started. Due to selling pressure, the movement of Nifty also started weakening.
Due to continuous selling, this index fell by more than 200 points to the level of 22,569.65 points in the first half hour itself. After this, buyers tried to create buying pressure to support the market.
However, this purchase attempt was not very successful. After continuous buying and selling in the market till 10 am, Nifty was trading at 22,602 points with a decline of 178.25 points or 0.78 percent.
In the current trading, there was active trading in 2,453 shares in the stock market. Of these, 621 shares were trading in the green after earning profits, while 1,832 shares were trading in the red after incurring losses.
Similarly, out of 30 shares included in Sensex, only one share remained in the green with the support of buying. On the other hand, 29 shares were trading in the red due to selling pressure.
Whereas out of 50 shares included in Nifty, four shares were seen trading in green mark and 46 shares were seen trading in red mark.
After trading till 10 am, shares of major stock market companies Adani Ports, InterGlobe Aviation, Bharti Airtel and Sun Pharmaceutical were trading with a gain of 0.37 percent to 0.09 percent.
On the other hand, shares of TMPV, Jio Financial, HDFC Life, Bajaj Finance and HDFC Bank were seen trading with a fall of 2.66 per cent to 1.65 per cent.
Before this, on the last trading day on Monday, the Sensex had closed at the level of 72,771.72 points with a tremendous weakness of 1,124.02 points or 1.52 percent. At the same time, Nifty ended Monday’s trading at the level of 22,780.25 points with a big fall of 360.25 points or 1.56 percent.
