Share Market: After two days of decline, the stock market took a sigh of relief, Sensex rose 190 points.

Mumbai: There was a slight rise in Sensex and Nifty during early trading in the domestic stock market on Wednesday. After two consecutive trading sessions of decline, BSE Sensex rose 190 points to 72,733.04. Whereas NSE Nifty was seen trading at 22,735.20 points with a gain of 22 points.

TCS and tech stocks rise

Among the 30 Sensex companies, shares of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Tech Mahindra, HCL Technologies, InterGlobe Aviation, ICICI Bank and Trent were among the gainers in early trade.

In contrast, shares of Adani Ports, HDFC Bank, Sun Pharma and NTPC recorded a decline.

Mixed trend of Asian markets

In Asian markets, South Korea's Kospi and Hong Kong's Hang Seng were trading in decline. Whereas China's SSE Composite and Japan's Nikkei 225 were seen trading with slight gains.

Earlier, American stock markets had closed with a decline on Tuesday.

Brent crude crosses $103

International oil benchmark Brent crude rose 0.68 percent to $103.3 a barrel in futures trade.

Meanwhile, according to stock market data, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) made a net sale of shares worth Rs 9,980.22 crore in the Indian stock market on Tuesday.

The market closed with a decline on Tuesday

In Tuesday's trading session, the Sensex closed down by 242.65 points, while the Nifty fell by 64.05 points. Wednesday's early rally was seen as an improvement in the market after two consecutive sessions of decline.
