New Delhi, 30 September 2026: Indian women's cricket team's star spinner Shri Charani has engraved her name in the pages of history. In the latest T20 rankings announced on Tuesday (September 29), he has become the bowler with the most points so far. This Indian spinner has broken all previous records; Shri Charani, who was already on the first position, has now reached 817 rating points, which is the highest score till date in this ranking.
With this, she has left behind Australian fast bowler Megan Schutt. In 2018, the Australian bowler set the record for the highest rating points by achieving a rating of 806. On the other hand, Charani is continuously making important contributions for India in matches and tournaments.
Charani proved to be a reliable bowler during India's eighth Women's Asia Cup title and their recent campaign to win the gold medal at the Asian Games just days later. He took a total of 12 wickets in the Asia Cup, which also included a best performance of 4/20 in the final against Sri Lanka.

In the Asian Games held in Japan, Charani took 4 wickets for 10 runs in the match against the host team, which was his best performance so far in the semi-finals. Subsequently, this Indian spinner took two wickets in the final (match for gold medal) against Sri Lanka. Due to his consistently excellent performance, he achieved the highest ranking till date.

Indian bowler Deepti Sharma is at second position in the ranking with 754 rating points.
