Pratapgarh.Bharatiya Janata Party Uttar Pradesh state vice president and newly appointed regional in-charge of Kashi region Ramesh Singh, on his first visit to the district on Tuesday, was given a grand welcome and felicitation by BJP workers at various places, from the Kohandour border to the district BJP office. On reaching BJP district office, he planted trees in the premises and gave the message of environmental protection. After this, the meeting was started with the welcome speech of District President Ashish Kumar Srivastava by laying flowers on the portrait of organizational Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay and Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and lighting the lamp in the district office.
Addressing the meeting, regional in-charge Ramesh Singh infused new energy and enthusiasm among the workers. Mentioning in detail the organizational journey from the establishment of Bharatiya Jana Sangh to the formation of Bharatiya Janata Party, he said that the history of BJP is a history of sacrifice, struggle, ideas and a long journey of national service. He said that with the values and ideas with which great men like Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay laid the foundation of the organization, BJP has today made its place among the largest political organizations in the world.
The organization expands not only by increasing the numbers, but by dedication to the ideology and providing service to the last person of the society. Appealing to the workers, Ramesh Singh said that the real strength of BJP lies in its booth level workers. Every worker is the backbone of the organization. He stressed on strengthening the booth, increasing public relations, making the public welfare schemes of the Central and State Government accessible to the people and ensuring active participation in organizational programs.
He called upon the workers to work continuously with discipline, dedication and spirit of service. District General Secretary Rajesh Singh coordinated the work.
