According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Jammu and Kashmir on October 5 and 6, in Uttarakhand on October 2 and thereafter on October 5 and 6. Whereas, there may be rain in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh from Friday till October 6. There is a possibility of rain in Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha on Friday, October 2. At the same time, there may be heavy rain in Bihar from October 3 to October 6. According to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of rain and thundershowers along with thunderstorms in Odisha till October 6. There is a possibility of rain in many places including Amritsar in Punjab.

The Meteorological Department has said that Konkan area of ​​Goa, Kutch and Saurashtra areas of Gujarat will also continue to rain till October 6. At the same time, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karnataka, Rayalaseema and Kerala may see a period of rain for a week. Whereas, there is a possibility of rain in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram and Tripura in the first week of October. This year there was heavy rain in the northeastern states. Due to which flood situations were created at many places in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. At the same time, due to increase in water in the rivers of Nepal, people were troubled by floods in UP and Bihar. Gandak river is still flooded at many places in Bihar. Even during Dussehra in October, there is a possibility of rain in many states including West Bengal.
