It re-registered as a charitable incorporated organization in April this year. This change in status freed its trustees from its debts and allowed it to hold property as a limited company, but operate entirely under charity law. Yasin Munye, a teacher at Hackney Islamic Community Centre, described homosexuality and disobedience to the wife as a big crime.
