Rizwan seeks return of phone from Pakistan cybercrime agency – Tezzbuzz

Islamabad,  Oct 1:

Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan has asked the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) to return his mobile phone and provide written details of the allegations being investigated against him.

In a letter dated September 28, Rizwan denied allegations that he had failed to cooperate with the inquiry. He said he had provided his phone password and allowed officials to examine its contents in his presence.

Rizwan said the phone was taken from him on August 31 with an assurance that it would be returned within three hours, and later after its digital forensic examination. He said considerable time had passed and sought its return without further delay.

He also requested that any future appearance before the agency be communicated to him through official channels. Rizwan and fellow Pakistan batter Imam-ul-Haq had appeared before the NCCIA earlier this month in connection with an inquiry into alleged dressing-room leaks.
