Ola Electric has released complete details and prices of its new budget electric scooter Ola S1 Z. Keeping in mind daily use as well as long distance travel, it has been launched in two different variants. The ex-showroom price of the top variant of this scooter has been kept below Rs 1 lakh, which gives a claimed IDC range of up to 301 km on a single charge.

Complete mathematics of variants, price and range
The company has introduced it with two battery options according to different needs and budget:
- 3.1kWh Base Variant: Its ex-showroom price has been fixed at ₹ 79,999. This variant gives an IDC range of 179 km on a single charge and accelerates from 0 to 40 kmph in just 4.6 seconds. It takes 5 hours 42 minutes to charge from 0 to 80%.
- 5.1kWh top variant: Its ex-showroom price is ₹ 99,999. This variant offers an IDC range of 301 km. It takes 4.9 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph and takes 6 hours 16 minutes to charge from 0 to 80%. Delivery of this variant will start from March 2027.
Motor, Suspension and Storage
Ola S1 Z has a peak motor power of 4kW, with which this scooter can achieve a top-speed of 70 kmph. It uses in-house LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) Bharat Cell chemistry, which works on MoveOS 5 software.
For daily use and luggage, it has a large underseat storage of 34 liters (in 3.1kWh variant). For riding comfort and safety, the scooter gets 12-inch wheels and drum brakes on both wheels. Talking about suspension setup, telescopic forks are provided at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear.
Color options and smart features
This electric scooter is available in four attractive colours: White, Anthracite, Sky Splash Blue and Matcha Green. Through smartphone connectivity and Ola Electric app, it gets advanced features like cruise control, regenerative braking, reverse mode, GPS navigation, over-the-air (OTA) updates and geofencing.
