'One Kachori, two Samosas… no trust on BJP', Akhilesh taunts BJP amid Rajya Sabha elections, said this about the third candidate

Tezzbuzz Desk- Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav, during a press conference in Lucknow on Thursday, cornered BJP and the government on issues like Rajya Sabha elections, law and order of UP, killing of sadhus and emergency. Regarding the third Rajya Sabha candidate, he said that first the number will be completed and then the candidate will be announced.

Akhilesh Yadav said that for this, talks have to be held with the MLAs and this process takes time. He claimed that many people from BJP are in touch with SP. Also said that some people want to come back and there is dissatisfaction at some places. However, he said that he does not want to make such a promise to anyone, which he cannot fulfill later. When asked about the mathematics of Rajya Sabha elections, Akhilesh Yadav took a dig at BJP and said, “One kachori, two samosas… no trust on BJP.”

Regarding the killing of sadhus in Shahjahanpur and Etah, Akhilesh Yadav said that he did not know the reason for the killing, but he accused the government of not giving respect to the sadhus. In Khudaganj of Shahjahanpur, bodies of two sadhus were found burnt in the temple premises and the police is investigating the matter.

Akhilesh talked about increasing the pension of democracy fighters to Rs 51 thousand and giving them equal recognition as freedom fighters. He also raised questions on the functioning of UP Police and alleged that the police is working like BJP workers.
