Last World Cup for Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma
Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will be playing their last World Cup. The veterans are looking to lift the trophy before bidding adieu to international cricket. The players are likely to give their best for the two greats of the game.
Virat has represented India in five ODI World Cups. He was a part of the side that won the global tournament in 2011. On the other hand, Rohit will be making his fourth appearance in the ICC event. It is the only trophy missing from his cabinet.
Kohli is the second-highest run-getter in the history of the ODI World Cup, while Rohit is fourth in the table. Rohit’s five centuries in 2019 are the record for the most centuries in a single edition, while he has accumulated the most runs in one edition, with 765 in 2023.
