Center approves sewerage projects for Jaspur, approval given to state government's proposal

The proposal sent by the State Government to the Central Government for strengthening sewerage and urban infrastructure facilities in Jaspur area of ​​Udham Singh Nagar district of Uttarakhand has been approved. Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister and Power Minister Manohar Lal has informed Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami about the approval of various projects for Jaspur area under the Used Water Management component of AMRUT-U 2.0. The Chief Minister has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Manohar Lal for this important approval.

Civic facilities will be further improved

The Chief Minister said that this approval of the Central Government will give impetus to the development of infrastructure facilities in the urban areas of the state including Jaspur. He said that by strengthening the basic facilities like sewerage and used water management, there will be further improvement in cleanliness, environmental protection and civic amenities in urban areas.

Development of facilities will get new momentum

The total sanctioned cost of these three projects is ₹11.14 crore, which includes ₹10.026 crore central assistance. The Chief Minister said that the implementation of these projects will strengthen the sewerage management system in Jaspur area and the development of urban infrastructure will gain new momentum.
