Honda has been working on the Elevate facelift for a very long time, and the SUV is now set to launch on 6 October 2026. We have already seen multiple videos and images of the Elevate test mule. However, Honda has now decided to release an official teaser for the SUV ahead of its official launch. Official pre-bookings for this mid-size SUV have also started. You can pre-book the SUV by visiting any Honda dealership across the nation by making a payment of Rs 21,000
The video has been shared by Honda Cars India on its YouTube channel. In this video, we get glimpses of the upcoming Elevate facelift SUV. It looks like Honda has worked on the exterior design of the vehicle to make it more appealing.
In the teaser, we see the Honda Elevate enter a tunnel, and while the vehicle is inside, we get to see some of the revised elements on the SUV. As this is the first update for the Elevate since its launch, Honda has made several changes to the overall appearance to make the car look fresher.
We get a glimpse of the revised tail lights with twin connecting LED bars and the Honda logo in the centre. The front grille will also see revisions, and we can see an LED bar at the front. While we do not get a clear view of the headlamps and the front fascia of the Elevate, we expect to see a decent number of changes to give the SUV a fresh look.
Another detail that we see in the video is the cabin. We see red-coloured ambient lights on the door pads and dashboard. The colour theme in the cabin has also changed. The Elevate will now come with an Ice Grey and black theme for the cabin. It looks similar to what we saw in the updated Honda City this year.
The front grille is likely to be revised, and we could also see an updated version of the headlamps on the SUV. The front bumper and fog lamp design are also expected to change. Coming to the side, the silhouette of the SUV is likely to remain the same, but we expect to see a new alloy wheel design.
Coming to the cabin, the Elevate will continue to offer features such as a 10.25-inch infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-speaker audio system, a wireless charger, a 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster, keyless entry and push-button start, connected car technology, a rear parking camera, and camera-based ADAS.
Apart from this, we expect to see updates such as a 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitor, a new colour theme for the cabin, ventilated seats, and more. The Elevate will also get a decent number of safety features, including ADAS, or Honda Sensing as Honda likes to call it, along with six airbags, ABS, EBD, electronic stability control, and more.
The SUV will continue to be powered by the same 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated i-VTEC petrol engine that produces 121 PS and 145 Nm of peak torque. The SUV will be offered with manual and CVT gearbox options. Honda will not be launching a hybrid or electric version of the Elevate anytime soon.
