Lucknow Murder Case: A very painful incident has come to light in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, which has completely shaken the relationships. A minor son brutally killed his own mother in Vision Apartment located near Rajendra Nagar intersection of Naka police station area. The boy hit his mother on the head with a heavy iron tool, i.e. a wrench, kept in the house so many times that the woman died on the spot. After this horrific incident of murder, the accused himself picked up the phone and informed the police. He said on the phone that he had killed his mother and police should be sent immediately. As soon as this call came, there was panic in the department and top officers rushed to the spot with heavy force.
After argument, attacked with wrench
According to senior police officials, this horrific incident took place in flat number 202 of Vision Apartment. The deceased has been identified as 42-year-old Geeta Bhagchandani, who lived with her husband Rakesh. Investigation has revealed that an argument had started between mother and son on Thursday morning over some issue. The matter escalated so much that the minor's anger became uncontrollable. He picked up a heavy wrench lying nearby and gave several powerful blows one after the other on the mother's head. Geeta bled profusely and fell on the floor in the attack. Due to deep head injuries, there was excessive bleeding and he died within a few moments.
The accused son was suffering from mental illness
The deceased's husband Rakesh tearfully told the police that his seventeen year old son was suffering from serious mental illness for the last five to six years. The family got him treated in the biggest hospitals. He visited well-known institutions from medical college to Noor Manzil, but there was no improvement in his condition. As the days passed, his mental condition worsened. The father also told that he also has the order letter of the Child Welfare Committee court, in which complete information about the son's mental condition and instructions for his treatment are recorded.
The boy lived in a separate room for four months
The father told that due to the daily fights in the house and his son's deteriorating mental condition, it was decided to keep him a little separated from the family. For the last four months he was kept in a rented room nearby. The family was taking full responsibility of his education, room rent and food so that the atmosphere remained calm. On Thursday morning he suddenly came to his home and said that he wanted to meet his mother. No one had any idea that the son, who had entered the house expressing his desire to meet his mother, would commit such a big and scary incident.
Forensic team collected evidence, investigation started
As soon as the news of the incident was received, the team of Naka police station along with field unit and forensic experts reached the apartment. The forensic team has collected blood samples and other important evidence from the spot. The police have also taken into their possession the heavy wrench used in the murder which had blood stains on it. Police officials say that the tool is being sent to the laboratory for testing so that all the links can be connected scientifically.
Accused in police custody, further action underway
The police have taken the minor accused into their custody from the spot. He is being continuously interrogated about the entire incident and what happened that made him so violent. Panchnama of the dead body has been prepared and sent for post-mortem. Top police officials say that further legal action is being taken on the basis of post mortem report and statements of family members. After this heart-wrenching incident, there is an atmosphere of deep silence and panic in the entire area and the residents of the apartment.
