17 years of experience showed the way
He told that he has been flying for the last 17 years, and has been holding the post of Captain for the last 11 years. This was the reason that despite having their eyes closed, they were able to understand what was happening inside the plane. He realized that he had to make one last effort. After this he somehow picked himself up and started trying to open the cockpit door. As soon as the door opened, the rest of the crew members also immediately came inside.
