A passenger was removed from a Scoot flight to Singapore over disruptive behavior before the aircraft departed from Macau on Sept. 27, causing a delay of about two hours.
A video of the incident posted on Chinese social media platform Xiaohongshu on Sept. 28 shows a woman escorted off the aircraft by officers, accompanied by Scoot flight attendants.
Some passengers can be heard clapping in the background.
Scoot told media on Oct. 1 that the incident occurred on flight TR905, which was carrying 173 passengers, The Straits Times reported.

The flight was scheduled to leave Macau for Singapore at 6:45 p.m. local time but eventually departed at 8:46 p.m.
The airline said the passenger was handed over to local authorities at Macau International Airport. It did not disclose what the passenger had done on board.
Scoot said the delay was caused by the time needed to remove the passenger, including waiting for local authorities to arrive and offloading the passenger’s checked baggage, AsiaOne reported.
All other passengers remained on the aircraft and were served refreshments, the airline said.
Scoot said investigations were ongoing and that it apologized for the disruption and inconvenience caused.
