Old LCD cluster out, got 5-inch high-tech TFT display
Bajaj has made a big change in its 400cc portfolio and has completely updated the digital setup of this bike. The new display supports both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi streaming. If the rider’s Android phone is connected to the bike, turn-by-turn navigation will appear directly on the screen even when the mobile screen is turned off. This will save phone battery during long journeys.
To control this display, new and improved switchgear has been provided on the handlebar. Riders can now change music, keep important documents digitally and check the lap timer right through the screen.
4 riding modes and premium safety package
This updated variant of Pulsar NS400Z gets four riding modes — Road, Rain, Sport and Off-Road, which the rider can change depending on the weather and road conditions.
The bike has been provided with many premium hardware for safety and control:
- USB Type-C Charging Port: To charge the phone while traveling.
- Panic Brake Alert: The taillight will blink rapidly when the brakes are applied suddenly.
- Sintered Brake Pads: Better and safer braking at high speeds.
- Hardware Highlights: USD front forks, adjustable levers and all-LED lighting.
Engine and Performance: 349cc liquid-cooled powerhouse
No changes have been made in the mechanical structure of the bike. It gets the same 349cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC 4-valve engine, which generates 40 PS of power at 9,000 rpm and 33 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm.
“This combination of power and tech makes it the best choice in this budget for new riders entering the high-performance bike segment.”
