Digital, exposed. In Mumbai, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Friday talked about the many challenges facing the world and the need for balance between them. In the 14th conference of All India Vihar Seva Group, he said that on one hand the modern world wants development, but on the other hand the challenge of saving the environment also remains. Similarly, with increasing personal freedom, changes are visible in family and social life.

Not every problem can be solved by eliminating another aspect.
Bhagwat said that there are many such situations in the world, where in trying to achieve one goal, the other party is affected. According to him, it is a big challenge to balance issues like development and environment, freedom and family and religious faith and conflict. He said that choosing one side and ignoring the other will not yield a permanent solution to these problems.
Referring to India's tradition, he said that the country has shared its knowledge tradition with the world without occupying other nations or converting people. Bhagwat said that today the world is looking towards India with the hope of solution and the way can come from India.

Describing India's knowledge tradition as extensive, the RSS chief referred to the teachings of saints including the Vedas, Upanishads, Ramayana, Mahabharata, Bhagavad Gita, Jain Agamas, Tripitaka and Guru Granth Sahib. He said that India has such a huge repository of knowledge, which the world needs today.
Bhagwat also emphasized on the relationship between religion and nation in his address. He said that in the Indian context both cannot be seen separately and both strengthen each other. He also linked the preservation of people who carry on knowledge and traditions with service to humanity.
