Just a few days ago, Mahindra officially launched the facelifted Thar three-door in India and named it the Thar OG. As a result, the company has now started dispatching its units to the dealerships across the country. Recently, a video walkaround of the Thar OG RWD version in its top-spec variant has been shared online.
This detailed walkaround video of the Mahindra Thar OG RWD ZXT variant has been shared on YouTube by Avtansh Singh on their channel. It starts off with the vlogger mentioning that this particular Thar OG is the top-of-the-line ZXT variant of the rear-wheel-drive version of the SUV. Following this, he also mentions that he has also booked this exact variant and its on-road price is Rs 16.25 lakh. As for the ex-showroom price, it is Rs 13.99 lakh.
After talking about the pricing, the vlogger then starts showing the exterior design of this SUV. For this, he starts at the front and shows the newly updated front fascia of this SUV. This time around, the Thar has been given a new front grille with Thar badge. It also gets new C-shaped LED headlights, which are the same as the Thar ROXX. Additionally, the front bumper is also completely new.

Its highlights include two front parking sensors, ice cube LED fog lights, and it also gets ice cube cornering lights as well. Soon after this, the vlogger then shows the side profile of the Thar OG ZXT. He explains and shows the new fender flares with new turn indicators and mentions that the flares have been increased in size. After which, he shows the newly added 19-inch alloy wheels.

Another addition is the disc brakes in the rear. The SUV gets all four disc brakes. Finally, he moves to the rear end of the Thar OG ZXT. He explains that the SUV now gets a new rear bumper design, new OG badge, and new C-shaped LED taillights. It also gets a rear camera and reverse parking sensors along with rear wiper, washer, and defogger setup.
After showing the complete exterior design, the vlogger then opens the door and shows the cabin of the new Thar OG ZXT. He mentions that it gets a new upholstery colour which looks very premium. It also gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system which is the same as the facelifted previous-generation model.

Additionally, the SUV also gets a new wireless charging pad and 15A Type-C port along with a Type-A port. Other highlights include a new sliding hand rest in the middle, updated instrument gauge cluster, new rear AC vents with Type-C port, and a few other changes. One of the main highlights of the new Thar OG inside is the addition of electric steering which makes it very light and easy to operate.

This particular variant comes equipped with the 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-diesel engine. This motor is capable of producing 117 bhp of power and 300 Nm of torque. The vlogger mentions that the RWD version of this SUV is only being offered with the 6-speed manual gearbox.
