Western Railway will take up Jumbo Block between Borivali and Ram Mandir stations on Sunday, 4 October 2026 to maintain the safety of passengers and better train operations. This block will remain in place from 10 am to 2 pm on Up Fast and 5th lines for maintenance work on track, signaling system and overhead equipment.
According to the press release issued by Shri Vineet Abhishek, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, all trains of Up Fast Line between Borivali and Andheri will be operated from Up Slow/6th Line during the block. At the same time, all the trains running on the 5th line between Andheri and Borivali will be run from the Down Fast Line.
Some up and down suburban train services will remain canceled due to maintenance work. Additionally, some Andheri and Borivali suburban services will be run up to Goregaon on the Harbor Line. Western Railway has appealed to passengers to keep in mind the changes in blocks and train operations while planning their journey on October 4.
Detailed information about the affected suburban services will be available at all stations of the suburban section of Western Railway. Passengers have been advised to check the status of the concerned train before travelling.
