Phu Quoc, named Asia’s most beautiful island by Condé Nast Traveler readers, welcomed 208,447 foreign tourists in September, up 85.2% year-on-year despite the low season.
As of September, it had received 1.92 million international tourists, up 60% year-on-year and reaching 95% of its annual target, according to An Giang Province’s Department of Tourism.
The island generated VND45.9 trillion (US$1.76 billion) in tourism revenue in the first nine months of this year, up 47.7% year-on-year and surpassing 1% of this year’s target.

Entertainment hubs on the island offers multi-experience itineraries featuring indoor services, dining and multimedia shows such as “Kiss of the Sea”.
Regular evening attractions including nightly fireworks and large-scale performances help keep visitors engaged after dark.
The expansion of direct international air routes linking the island with key markets, including South Korea, Taiwan, Central Asia and Eastern Europe, have also made it easier for international tourists to travel directly to Phu Quoc.
