The inauguration of this state-of-the-art center took place in the presence of Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat.

The main objective of this center is to prepare thousands of youth of the area for the growing market of renewable energy. According to data, Adani Group's green energy initiatives have generated more than 21,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities in Kutch in the last two years. Now through this new Center of Excellence, more than 10,000 students will be given practical training every year in cutting-edge subjects like Solar Photovoltaic (PV), Wind Energy, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and Industrial Automation.

During the program, Adani Group Director Karan Adani said that investment in green energy is not just the development of technology but also building the future of the country's youth. He expressed confidence that this center will prepare the youth for the employment opportunities emerging not only in India but globally. At the same time, Adani Skills CEO Robin Bhowmik said that this initiative will bridge the gap between education and job and create a skilled workforce as per the needs of the industry.

It is noteworthy that the Government of India is targeting 500 GW non-fossil fuel capacity by the year 2030. In this sequence, a huge 30 GW renewable energy park is being developed by Adani Group in Khavra, Kutch in 538 square kilometers, which is five times the size of the city of Paris. In such a situation, this Center of Excellence will prove helpful to the local youth in getting global level jobs near their own homes.
