Medical facilities will be cashless from treatment to examination

Under the new system, facilities ranging from treatment to medical examination will be cashless. The entire process has been made easy and convenient through a single window system. The government claims that this step will provide great relief especially to elderly pensioners.

Rekha Gupta said that health facilities for pensioners are the responsibility of the government.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that the pensioners and family pensioners of Delhi Jal Board have devoted a major part of their lives in the service of the people of Delhi. In such a situation, it is the responsibility of the government to provide them better health facilities at this stage of life. He said that earlier one had to go through a long process for reimbursement after bearing the cost of treatment oneself, but now a big step has been taken towards eliminating this problem. Water Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh said that the government is also responsible for the health of those who provided water and sewer services to the homes of Delhi for years.
