Haryana: It became an emotional and memorable occasion to meet friends who once studied together in school classes and cherished childhood memories by playing together in the streets, after almost 3-4 decades. After a long gap, a gathering of old friends was organized in Ratia's Ram Park, in which childhood memories came alive again. During this, the friends not only shared their past experiences with each other, but also took a pledge to maintain mutual friendship and family brotherhood in the future. After completing his education in Ratia before the year 1990, he moved to Delhi and NCR for business. This special meeting was possible due to the efforts of Anil Jhandai, Pramod Thakkar and Rajesh Thakkar settled in the area. After reaching Ratia, instead of meeting old friends from door to door, he sent a message through phone to all his friends to gather at one place and decided to organize a meeting at Ram Park.

The program was conducted by international announcer Dharmendra Goswami and he made this meeting after years memorable by introducing all the colleagues present. Anil Jhandai, who reached Ratia from Delhi, added a lot of color to the gathering through his humorous jokes and stories related to his childhood. He presented his experiences in a humorous manner, which left the attendees rolling in laughter. Late headmaster of Happy Model School, Amir Chand Bajaj was specially remembered during the get together. Colleagues remembered the education and values given by him to the students and paid tribute to his contribution.

At the same time, Anil Jhandai also presented the incidents related to the student life of Municipality Chairperson representative Kalu Khanna in a humorous manner. Pramod Thakkar presented Ratia's old streets and childhood memories to everyone through poetry. Whereas Vidyasagar Baghla presented such an interesting style by linking the pronunciation of Om with the taste of momos that the entire gathering echoed with laughter and all the colleagues chanted Om in an atmosphere of joy and happiness.
Decision to organize a meeting in Ratia every three months
On this occasion, the old friends realized that the distance that had persisted over the years due to time commitments and settling at different places, now needed to be bridged. Everyone decided that to further mutual brotherhood, friendship and family harmony, a similar get-together would be organized in Ratia every three months. NCR Old friends settled in other places including Delhi will also be informed about this and invited to attend the next meeting. Colleagues said that amidst the busyness of life, spending some time with childhood friends in itself gives special pleasure. Such meetings not only refresh old memories, but can also become a medium to connect the coming generations with the feeling of mutual harmony, love and brotherhood.
