New Delhi. The BJP government of Delhi has announced to increase the fixed mandate of Asha workers from Rs 3000 to Rs 6000. CM Rekha Gupta said that the government is determined to make the lives of Asha workers easier. With this resolution, the fixed honorarium of 6,690 Asha sisters of Delhi has been increased from Rs 3,000 to Rs 6,000. CM said that now Asha sisters will get financial support and health services at every home will be further strengthened. Along with this, three other important health initiatives have been launched today.

State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization (SOTTO) has been started at GB Pant Hospital, Delhi. Now there will be better coordination in the entire process of organ donation and transplantation and timely help will reach the needy patients. Apart from this, the ANMOL scheme has been expanded. Under this, 56 health related tests of newborn babies are being conducted absolutely free in Delhi, which will enable timely identification and treatment of diseases. Nursing Home Management System Portal has been launched which will make the processes related to nursing homes more simple, transparent and accountable.
