New Delhi. Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat and Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar have hijacked the country by stealing votes, which is treason.
He also said that none of them will be spared and everyone will have to face legal action. On the Election Commission issue, MPs of 'India' alliance took out a march from the Parliament House complex towards the Election Commission on Tuesday. However, the police stopped them on Parliament Street and detained several MPs.
Rahul Gandhi, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi, KC Venugopal and many other party leaders, after being stopped from going to the election chamber, entered the Akashvani complex and held a meeting under a tree there in protest. Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Gandhi said that around 300 MPs had come to meet Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and the two Election Commissioners, but they were not given the opportunity to meet them.
He said, don't know, what is happening in the country? If the Election Commission does not meet the public representatives then what is the meaning of democracy? In response to a question, Gandhi said that he is not interested in what the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is saying and his aim is to save democracy. He alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar have harmed the country by 'stealing votes'.
He said, Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and Bhagwat have hijacked the country by stealing votes. Gyanesh Kumar helped him. He alleged that what these people have done is treason. Gandhi said that none of them would be spared and all those responsible would be held accountable.
