New Delhi, October 6, 2026 (Read): OPPO Find X10 Pro Max will be among the first smartphones in the world to feature MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9600 Pro flagship chipset. OPPO India and MediaTek confirmed the development during the MediaTek Tech Day event in Delhi.


According to the companies, the Find X10 Series will combine flagship-level performance with new-generation AI experiences, with a strong focus on performance, AI capabilities, gaming, power efficiency and camera processing.
Dimensity 9600 Pro Built on 2nm Process
The new Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset is built on a 2nm process and features a 2+3+3 all-big-core CPU design.
The chipset includes two C2-Ultra cores clocked at up to 4.55GHz, three C2-Pro big cores running at up to 4.35GHz and three C2-Pro big cores with speeds of up to 3.1GHz.
MediaTek claims that compared with the previous generation, the chipset can deliver up to 17% better single-core performance and up to 15% better multi-core performance. It also claims up to 61% lower power consumption during multi-core workloads.
Major AI Upgrade
The Dimensity 9600 Pro comes with a dual-NPU architecture and the Dimensity Agentic AI Engine. These technologies are designed to help smartphones better understand context and perform tasks according to user requirements.
The second-generation Super-Efficient NPU can reduce power consumption by up to 40% for always-on AI tasks. MediaTek also claims that the NPU 1090 offers up to 51% better LLM prefill performance and up to 55% improvement in token generation per watt.
The chipset supports AI models with up to 30 billion parameters.
Focus on Gaming and Camera Performance
For gaming, the chipset features the G2-Ultra NX GPU. MediaTek claims up to 27% higher peak performance, 24% lower power consumption and 18% faster ray tracing compared with the previous generation.
The chipset also supports gaming at up to 185fps.
For camera processing, the Dimensity 9600 Pro features the Imagiq 1290 ISP and AI Imaging Fusion Architecture. Supported features include 60fps motion capture, 4K 240fps slow-motion recording, 4K 60fps AI True Color Tone and 4K 120fps Cinematic Log.
OPPO and MediaTek Develop Laminar Flow Engine
OPPO and MediaTek have also jointly developed the Laminar Flow Engine. It is designed to provide a better balance between system responsiveness and power efficiency.
OPPO has confirmed that the Find X10 Series will be introduced in India in the coming weeks. The company has not yet revealed the remaining specifications or pricing of the series.
