Business Desk- Stock Market Update Today: There is a rise in the stock market today i.e. on 6th October. Sensex is trading at the level of 72,750 with a gain of more than 350 points. At the same time, Nifty is also up by about 100 points and is trading at the level of 22,650. Buying is being seen in the market especially in banking and metal shares.

What is the rise in Sensex-Nifty today?

Both Sensex and Nifty are trading with gains in early trade. Sensex is up by more than 350 points, while Nifty is up by about 100 points. Buying in banking and metal sector shares is supporting the market.

Today, investors are keeping an eye on the signals from the domestic market as well as the Asian Market and Global Market. There is currently a buying environment in the Indian market amid mixed signals from foreign markets.

Mixed business in Asian market also

Most of the major indices in Asian markets showed gains today. Japan’s Nikkei stood at 70,082 with a gain of 135 points or 0.19%. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng rose 193 points or 0.77% to 24,233.

However, South Korea’s Kospi declined. Kospi was down 62 points or 0.84% ​​at the level of 6,938.

US market also closed with gains

Earlier on October 5, the American market was also bullish. Dow Jones closed at 51,268 with a gain of 91 points or 0.18%. Nasdaq gained 286 points or 1.05% and closed at the level of 27,477.

S&P 500 also closed at 7,774 with a gain of 51 points or 0.66%. This growth of the American market is included in the positive signs for the Indian market today.

FII sold shares worth Rs 24 thousand crore in 7 days

Selling by foreign investors still remains a matter of concern for the market. FII/FPI have sold shares worth Rs 24,332 crore in the last 7 days. Whereas in the last 30 days, net selling by foreign investors has been Rs 60,570 crore.

On the contrary, domestic institutional investors i.e. DIIs are continuously buying. DII has made net purchases of Rs 26,495 crore in the last 7 days. The figure for the last 30 days is of purchases worth Rs 72,686 crore.

In today’s data, DII’s net buying stood at Rs 5,182 crore, while FII/FPI made net selling of Rs 4,699 crore. All these figures are in crores of rupees.

Yesterday also the market closed with gains

Earlier on October 5 also there was a rise in the Indian stock market. The Sensex rose 473 points and closed at 72,382. Nifty had a gain of 134 points and closed at the level of 22,556.

This means that the market is in a bullish trend for the second consecutive trading day. However, selling by foreign investors, buying by domestic institutional investors and signals from the global market will be important in deciding the future direction of the market.
