New Delhi. BSP supremo Mayawati has given clarification regarding the inclusion of her nephew Akash Anand back in the party and making him the BSP co-ordinator again. Mayawati said that Akash Anand was playing a very active role in the party even before his marriage, due to which he was never expelled from the party. After marriage, his father-in-law Ashok Siddharth tried to tarnish the image of Akash Anand in his own selfish interest. Due to which, with the specific aim of improving Akash Anand, he had to be expelled from the party several times and after realizing his mistake, he was also taken back.

Mayawati said, I am confident that after Ashok Siddharth's retirement from politics, no such situation should arise that the party will again have to exclude Akash Anand. Just as Akash has never given the party any chance to complain before marriage, now after Ashok Siddharth's retirement, there is no question that there will be a need to expel him from the party any time in future and now everyone has full hope that he will move ahead in politics.

Mayawati said that today in most of the media it has been exaggerated that Akash Anand has been expelled from the party four times and now he has been brought back into the party and he has again been made the national convenor of the party, hence it would be better if the media highlights all this truth and mentions Akash Anand. Let us tell you that on October 2, Akash Anand had written a long post on social media in which he had apologized to his aunt Mayawati and requested her to give him another chance in the party.
