Punjab News: The political turmoil in Punjab has intensified over the CBI raid on the camp office of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann launched a scathing attack on the BJP over this action, alleging that the BJP was misusing the central investigative agencies to defame the Punjab government and them.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann said that BJP has always pushed with Punjabis. Now seeing the love and support he is getting from the people of Punjab, BJP is nervous, he said that BJP cannot compete with his work, hence it has fielded the central investigating agencies.
BJP’s election preparations begin with CBI raid
The Chief Minister said that the BJP has started its election preparations in Punjab by conducting a CBI raid on the camp office. He alleged that just a few months before the elections, central agencies are being used to target the elected state government and its leadership.
Mann said that the Punjab government will focus on good governance and public welfare instead of being afraid of such politics, adding that agencies like CBI and ED should work in an independent and impartial manner and not become an instrument of political vendetta.
The government will not be afraid of such actions
Bhagwant Singh Mann said that Punjab has a strong democratic tradition and its people have always given a befitting reply to attempts to interfere in the political mandate. He said that the elected government of Punjab will not be afraid of such activities and will continue to raise issues related to the rights, interests and development of the state.
Punjab Cabinet Minister Harpal Singh Cheema said that BJP’s frustration is clearly visible before the elections. He alleged that an attempt is being made to defame the Mann government through the CBI raid on the camp office of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
Punjab’s voice cannot be suppressed
Cheema said that the voice of Punjab cannot be suppressed by misuse of agencies like ED and CBI. He said that Aam Aadmi Party will fight this battle from the streets to the Parliament and any kind of arbitrariness will not be tolerated. He claimed that the CBI conducted the raid within 24 hours without waiting for his petition in the Supreme Court. Cheema called it an attempt to scare Punjabis and said that Punjab and Punjabis have never been afraid. According to him, three crore Punjabis of the state are standing with Aam Aadmi Party and Bhagwant Mann.
BJP’s 2027 election campaign begins
At the same time, AAP’s Punjab State President and Cabinet Minister Aman Arora said that BJP has started its 2027 election campaign through the CBI raid on the camp office of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
Aman Arora said that the BJP is in panic after seeing the work done by the Bhagwant Mann government in the last five and a half years. He alleged that people at the grassroots level are not even ready to see the BJP and in this panic, raids are being conducted by misusing the investigating agencies.
Aman Arora said that the people of Punjab are courageous and have been giving a befitting reply to the bullying. He said that in the coming elections also, the people of Punjab will give a befitting reply to the BJP for its bullying.
