Lumio has officially introduced the Arc 7 (2026) in India, bringing a series of upgrades to its smart projector lineup. The new model builds on the company’s previous Arc 7 with higher brightness, improved contrast, more internal storage, and a larger supported projection size. It also retains the Google TV experience and automatic setup features that were part of Lumio’s earlier projector offering.
The Lumio Arc 7 (2026) is priced at ₹34,999 in India, with sales scheduled to begin on October 8. Customers will be able to purchase it through the Lumio Store, Amazon India, and Flipkart, giving the projector a fairly broad retail presence from launch.
Brighter Projection and Improved Contrast
One of the biggest changes on the 2026 Arc 7 is its upgraded picture hardware. The projector now offers 500 ANSI lumens, up from the 400 ANSI lumens offered by the previous Arc 7. Lumio also claims a 1700:1 contrast ratio, representing an improvement over the earlier model’s 1500:1 figure.
The company says the new model can project an image at up to 120 inches, compared with the previous generation’s 100-inch ideal screen size. However, the 120-inch figure should be viewed as a maximum supported projection size. Actual results will depend on factors such as room dimensions, projection distance, and ambient lighting.
The Arc 7 (2026) continues to use Full HD 1080p output. It can accept 4K content and downscale it, but that should not be confused with native 4K projection. Lumio also claims improved DCI-P3 colour coverage with the new model.
Arc Light Engine 2 Is Designed for Indian Conditions
Lumio has introduced its next-generation Arc Light Engine 2 with the new projector. The company describes the light engine as sealed and dust-proof, with the design intended to help maintain consistent picture quality in India’s varied environmental conditions. This focus is particularly relevant for a projector because dust accumulation can affect optical components and image quality over time.
Lumio is positioning the Arc Light Engine 2 as part of a broader effort to make the projector suitable for Indian homes and everyday usage. Lumio says the Arc 7 (2026) is built in India and has been tested for dust, temperature variations, and power fluctuations. The company is also backing the projector with a nationwide network of more than 300 service centres, alongside a one-year comprehensive warranty.
Google TV With Android 14 and Gemini Experience
The software experience remains a major part of the Arc 7’s appeal. The 2026 model runs Google TV based on Android 14 and is Netflix certified, allowing users to access the streaming service directly. The projector also supports the latest Gemini experience on Google TV. This should be understood as support for Google’s evolving Gemini-powered experience within the Google TV platform. Storage has also received a substantial upgrade. The Arc 7 (2026) comes with 32GB of internal storage, double the 16GB capacity offered by the earlier Arc 7. The additional space should provide more room for applications and locally stored content.
Automatic Setup Makes Placement Easier
Lumio is also focusing on convenience with several automatic setup features. The Arc 7 (2026) comes with STR8 auto-keystone correction, which automatically adjusts the projected image when the projector is not positioned perfectly straight. It also includes TOF autofocus for quick focus adjustment and obstacle avoidance to detect objects that could interfere with the projected image. Together, these features are designed to reduce the amount of manual adjustment required when moving or repositioning the projector around the home.
Dual 8W Speakers With Dolby Audio
The Arc 7 (2026) also gets an audio upgrade with dual 8W stereo speakers and Dolby Audio support. This gives the projector a combined 16W speaker setup and means users can potentially rely on the built-in speakers for everyday movie and TV viewing without immediately needing an external sound system. That said, the specifications alone do not establish how the projector sounds in real-world conditions. Room size, placement, and personal listening preferences can all affect the perceived audio experience, so the 16W output should be treated as a hardware specification.

Lumio Arc 7 (2026) Price and Availability in India
The Lumio Arc 7 (2026) costs ₹34,999 in India. Sales begin October 8 through the Lumio Store, Amazon India and Flipkart. At that price, the new Arc 7 continues Lumio’s push into India’s mid-range projector market while adding several meaningful upgrades over the previous generation. The combination of 500 ANSI lumens, 1700:1 contrast, up to 120-inch projection, 32GB storage, Google TV on Android 14 and dual 8W speakers gives the 2026 model a broader feature set than its predecessor.
More importantly, Lumio is emphasising the Indian-market aspects of the product, from its sealed Arc Light Engine 2 to testing for dust, temperature changes and power fluctuations, as well as a service network spanning more than 300 centres. The Arc 7 (2026) therefore isn’t simply a specification refresh; Lumio is also positioning it as a projector designed around the practical conditions of Indian homes.
