Fans will have to wait a little longer for Jackie Shroff and Sharad Kelkar’s Kaali Kheti, as the rural horror film has been pushed back from its October 23 release date.
The upcoming film is now expected to release the following month on November 20, 2026.
As part of the release-date update, the film’s makers have revealed new character posters featuring Jackie Shroff and Sharad Kelkar.
The new posters manage to capture the film’s rural setting while keeping details about the actors’ characters and the overall storyline under wraps.
Haris Imtiyaz Khan writes and directs Kaali Kheti, which is produced by Sana Khan under the BlackCanvas Studio banner.
Set in a rural world, the film explores family, legacy and buried secrets against a horror backdrop.
While Kaali Kheti seems to delve into secrets buried in its rural world, the makers have yet to disclose many details about the story.
The cast also includes Neha Sargam, Virendra Saxena and Shaji Choudhary in key roles alongside Jackie Shroff and Sharad Kelkar.
This update comes days after Ayushmann Khurrana’s Udta Teer also got postponed to a later date from its original October 9 date.
Udta Teer will now be releasing on October 23.
