The World Bank says that Pakistan's economy has not been able to pick up pace since the Corona period. Many efforts were made to improve it, but the Pakistan government did not get success. Political instability is also an important reason. Balochistan, Khyber and PoK areas of Pakistan have been disturbed for a long time. This has also had an impact. The report says that Pakistani companies are not thinking about products and innovation. The World Bank says that the poverty rate has increased by 6.4 percent between 2018-19 and 2024-25. According to the report, Pakistan is the second largest country in the world in terms of poverty.
Here, an increase in people's expenditure has also been recorded. Pakistan Bureau of Statistics says that every family in Pakistan spends an average of 9 dollars per day on accommodation and food. On average 6 people live in a family. According to this, the daily expenditure of one person is 1.5 dollars. Earlier this number was around 1 dollar. In view of inflation in Pakistan, recently the government bank had decided to convert Rs 10 notes into coins. Goods worth less than Rs 10 are not available in Pakistan.
