Many people remain troubled with gas, flatulence, indigestion and constipation throughout the day. Often these problems also occur due to wrong eating habits and lack of physical activity. In such a situation, along with making necessary changes in eating habits, regular physical activity is also important. Yoga can be an easy option for this. Taking out just 10 minutes from your busy routine and doing some simple yoga asanas can provide relief from digestive problems. In this regard, two simple asanas can be done, Pawanmuktasana and Baddha Konasana. Try to perform these asanas correctly without putting much pressure on the body.
Pawanmuktasana is also called 'asana that removes air illusion'. on the stomach Due to slight pressure, this asana helps in releasing the gas trapped in the stomach. This improves bowel movement and reduces the problem of flatulence. To do this asana, first lie down on your back on the yoga mat. Keep both the legs straight and keep the hands at the side. Then, while exhaling, bend both the knees and bring them near the chest. Try to reach your knees towards the chest. After this, lift the head and neck slightly and bring the chin towards the knees. After remaining in this position for some time, slowly come back to normal position. Do not hold your breath while doing the asana and do not put too much pressure on the body or knees.

Badhakonasana is also called butterfly asana. This is a simple asana and can be helpful in digestive problems. This asana helps in reducing abdominal gas, provides relief from constipation and improves blood flow in the pelvic area. This asana is also useful in reducing indigestion and stomach cramps. To do this asana, first sit in Sukhasana. Then turn both the legs inwards, join the palms together and bring the heels close to the body. Keeping the back straight, slowly raise both knees up and down. This asana can be done 10 to 15 times with the rhythm of breathing. It is important to keep the pace slow and comfortable while performing the asanas.
