A special campaign will be run across the state regarding registering names in land records, updating Jamabandi and matters related to inheritance. The Revenue and Land Reforms Department has also deployed survey officers to intensify this campaign.
Special campaign will run for one and a half months
This campaign of the department is going to last for about one and a half months. Its main objective is to organize old and pending land records and remove discrepancies in the papers. Special attention will be given to those cases in which after the death of the land owner, the names of his heirs have not been registered in the Jamabandi.
