ICC Latest Rankings: The International Cricket Council (ICC) released the latest rankings of T20 and ODI players on Wednesday. Indian T20 captain Shreyas Iyer has made a big gain in this ranking. He has jumped 18 places in the ranking of T20 batsmen. With this he has reached number 7 (786 rating points). This is the best ranking of his T20 career. 31 year old Shreyas Iyer has made his place in the top-10 in the list of T20 batsmen for the first time.

Shreyas Iyer had scored a century against West Indies on Tuesday i.e. 6th October at Lucknow ground. He played an unbeaten inning of 102 runs on just 43 balls, which included 10 fours and 6 sixes. This is the first T20 International century of his career, the reward for which is his rise in the ICC rankings. Apart from Iyer, three other batsmen are also in the top-10 in this list. Ishan Kishan remains at number 1 position, while Abhishek Sharma remains at number two. At the same time, Tilak Verma has slipped one place to 10th position.

Number 1 chair snatched from Pakistani

There has also been a big change in the ranking of T20 bowlers in the latest ICC rankings. Afghanistan’s star spinner Rashid Khan (720) has once again become the world’s number-1 T20 bowler.
