Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) is preparing to protest once again in Delhi. CJP has informed Delhi Police about the proposed protest on October 10 and its acknowledgment has also been received from the police. However, the police have not yet given permission for the demonstration. Outside Sansad Marg police station, CJP leader Saurav Das said that this will not be only a CJP demonstration, but it will be organized as a Gen-Z protest. He said that his agitation will continue until Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar is removed.

The controversy came to light during CJP's demonstration on 3 October. Three women journalists accused policemen of alleged sexual harassment and misbehavior. After receiving the complaints, Delhi Police sent the matter to the Crime Branch for impartial investigation.

Regarding the matter, journalists and protesters staged a protest outside Sansad Marg police station and demanded registration of FIR. During this time the police also detained some protesters. ACP Vivek Bhagat's name also came up in this case. Later he expressed his desire not to take the current duty charge of Additional DCP till the investigation into the alleged complaints is completed. After this the Delhi government changed the order in his case.

Later the police told the Supreme Court that it did not want to take further action on 13 FIRs related to the CJP protests in July. Now, in view of the proposed demonstration on October 10, police preparations are being monitored amid the past developments and current restrictions.
