New Delhi .Actor Nana Patekar has passed away at the age of 75. The cause of his death has been said to be severe cardiac arrest. Along with acting, an incident related to the life of Nana Patekar, who is involved in social work and helping farmers, is also in discussion. In this incident, it was told that after seeing the condition of the farmers' families, he had changed his decision to buy a luxury car worth about Rs 1.5 crore.

Nana Patekar was counted among the leading actors of Hindi and Marathi cinema. Apart from acting, he was also active in social work. About him, writer Ranbir Pushp had said in an interview that people had made many misconceptions about his angry nature. He had also refuted the claims that the filmmakers had to suffer losses due to Nana's anger.

According to Ranbir Pushp, one day Nana Patekar was watching the news. During this time, he saw the news related to the suicide of farmers, in which an entire family was seen immersed in grief. It was told that Nana was going to buy a car worth about Rs 1.5 crore the next day and preparations for it had been completed. But after seeing the news, he immediately called his friend and asked him to make and distribute checks of Rs 15,000 each to help the farmers.

In this context, Ranbir Pushp, while mentioning the social work of Nana Patekar, had said that he had established NAM Foundation to help the farmers. This was said to be an example of his concern for the problems of farmers and their families. According to him, Nana used to try to wipe the tears of the farmers.

Another incident related to Nana Patekar's anger was also told. According to Ranbir Pushp, once Nana saw someone throwing a plastic bottle out of his car. He stopped his car and picked up the bottle. After this, he stopped the car and asked the driver to lower the glass. Nana questioned him about the responsibility of keeping the country clean and expressed his displeasure over throwing plastic bottles on the road.

Nana Patekar suffered a serious cardiac arrest at his residence in Goa on Thursday morning. After this he was immediately taken to the hospital. Doctors tried to save him and gave continuous CPR for about 45 minutes, but his condition did not improve. He could not be revived.
