Jeremy Clarkson makes major move in Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose

Jeremy Clarkson’s rival to Guinness is now available for strout fans to purchase at three major UK supermarkets. Customers can now buy cans of the award-winning drink in various stores. Hawkstone black is brewed with 100% British-farmed ingredients, and remains one of the most popular products from Jeremy Clarkson’s Hawkstone Brewery in the Cotswolds. And now, shoppers can purchase the goods at Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and Waitrose.

A video showing Jeremy and his Clarkson’s Farm co-star Kaleb Cooper was uploaded to Instagram, alongside a caption which reads: “Need a proper stout? Our award-winning Hawkstone Black is in the aisles at Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and Waitrose.

“You know what to do.”

One person said: “Would love this in the US. We could all use a drink over here…” Another person wrote: “please ship to Malta.”

In another promotional video uploaded to the social media platform, Jeremy said his partner Lisa Hogan blindtested Guinness and Hawkstone Black – and preferred the latter.

Hawkstone launched in 2021 and the first batches of beer were made with barley from Jeremy’s farm Diddly Squat.

As well as its strout, the brewery also produces Hawkstone Premium Lager, which was the first of the brewery’s products to reach supermarket shelves, and has expanded beyond its lager. The range now includes the likes of Hawkstone Session Lager, Hawkstone Pils, and Hawkstone Cider.
