Due to property dispute, brother-in-law and sister-in-law poured petrol on woman and set her on fire, 75 percent burnt

The dispute over distribution of property in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh had a painful end. According to reports, in this dispute, a woman was allegedly doused with petrol and set on fire. This incident is being reported from Civil Lines area of ​​Aligarh. The woman has suffered severe burns and has been referred to Delhi for better treatment. According to the police, this incident happened on Wednesday and after the incident the woman was immediately admitted to the hospital for treatment. It is alleged that the woman's brother-in-law and sister-in-law poured petrol on her and set her on fire in her in-laws' house. As soon as the fire broke out, the woman started screaming. Hearing his screams, people nearby reached the spot and saved him. After this, he was admitted to JN Medical College in critical condition. According to reports, the woman is about 75 percent burnt and her condition remains critical.

What is the whole matter?

This matter is said to be related to distribution of property. The victim has been identified as 30 year old Sahiba. She is a resident of Bhujpura, Aligarh and was married to Irfan, a resident of Hamdard Nagar in Civil Lines area, about four years ago. According to the maternal side, Sahiba's mother-in-law Shahzadi has properties at different places.

 

It is reported that a few days ago, the princess had transferred a plot of about 50 yards in Teachers Colony in the name of her elder son. After this, out of about 250 yards plot in Maulana Azad Nagar, 125 yards were also given in the name of the elder son. The process of transferring the remaining 125 yards of the house in the name of younger son Irfan was to take place on Wednesday. In this connection, the princess had reached the tehsil with her son Irfan and daughter-in-law Sahiba.

It is alleged that during the process of transferring the property in the tehsil, the sister-in-law opposed it and created a ruckus. Due to this, the paperwork to transfer the property could not be done. After this the princess and Sahiba returned from there. It is being claimed that after some time his sister-in-law also followed him home.

The victim's maternal family has alleged that Sahiba's sister-in-law and her daughter fought with Sahiba after reaching home. After the dispute escalated, they allegedly poured petrol on Sahiba and set her on fire and Sahiba got badly burnt. Sahiba's maternal family has lodged a complaint in this matter.

After getting information about this incident, police reached the spot and the woman was admitted to the hospital. Police have recorded the statement of the woman and have registered a case in the matter and started investigation. The victim's maternal family alleges that the sister-in-law did not want the remaining portion of the princess's property to be in the name of Sahiba's husband. He also alleges that the sister-in-law has already got two houses in her name. The police have now started investigating this matter.
