Nana Patekar Antim Sanskar: Famous Bollywood actor Nana Patekar was cremated on Thursday night. In Pune, he was burnt and he merged into Panchatattva. Nana's last rites were performed with full state honors in his ancestral Donje village. He was wrapped in the tricolor. Many state government ministers including Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Sunetra Pawar, Maharashtra FDA Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe attended his funeral.

Died of cardiac arrest on Thursday morning

Let us tell you, Nana Patekar died in Goa on Thursday morning at the age of 75. He suffered cardiac arrest at home, after which CPR was given to him for about 45 minutes but he could not be saved. After this his body was brought to Pune. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis paid tribute to him in Pune.

According to Dr. Shekhar Salkar of Manipal Hospital, Nana breathed his last at 5.20 in the morning. No family member was present with him at the time of his death. His friends and caretaker were present with him.

Tukaram Mundhe remembered

On the demise of Nana Patekar, Maharashtra FDA Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe remembered him. He described Nana as his close friend. He said that both of them often talked on the phone. About a week ago, he had talked to Nana. At that time both of them talked very lovingly.

Tukaram said that in Nana's last conversation, Nana asked him about the well-being of his wife and children. He told Nana that he loves you Bala. I said that Nana's style was that he used to talk lovingly to everyone. Nana will always be in his and everyone's memories.
