Investment proposal worth Rs 90 thousand crore in MP

Mumbai Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, who came on Mumbai tour, has got great success. MP government has received an investment proposal of about Rs 90 thousand crore in the investor road show organized in Mumbai. These are likely to create more than 14 thousand jobs.

In the program held in Mumbai, Chief Minister Yadav met industry representatives and ambassadors and invited them to invest in the state. Chief Minister Yadav said that ACME Global has announced an investment of Rs 47,354 crore and Avada Group has announced an investment of Rs 22,056 crore. Reliance Industries Capital has proposed an investment of Rs 3,000 crore and Inox Rs 1,260 crore. Similarly, Sun Pharma will set up a greenfield project in Pithampur at a cost of about Rs 3,000 crore, which is likely to provide more than 1,750 jobs. IPCA Laboratories will invest Rs 1,080 crore in Dewas and Ujjain, creating 1,500 jobs. Both the companies have also shown interest in the proposed Pharma and Biotech Park in Ratlam.

According to Chief Minister Yadav, work is being done with the Maharashtra government on the new river linking proposal regarding Tapti River. Of the proposals worth Rs 10 lakh crore received so far, more than 30 percent have been implemented. Investors from Mumbai have been invited for the Global Investors Summit proposed in January or February 2027. Giving information about the favorable environment for investors, he said that Madhya Pradesh is the leading state in the country to provide electricity to industries at competitive rates. The electricity rate mentioned for textile and cotton industries in PM Mitra Park is around Rs 4.36 per unit. Land bank of about one lakh acres is available in the state for industrial projects. The process of land allotment has been reduced from 60 days to 24 days. Being situated in the center of the country, Madhya Pradesh is important in terms of roads and logistics. Multimodal logistics parks have been developed in the state, while there is emphasis on connecting many industrial areas with expressways and other transport networks.

Yadav said that surplus electricity, mineral resources, agricultural production and skilled manpower are the main bases for industries in the state. The state government is committed to facilitate investors through arrangements like investment incentive up to 40 percent, single window system and cabinet committee to take decisions as per sector based needs.
