Why is Delhi Police silent on the disturbance by government supporters?

Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) had called for a protest in Central Delhi on Saturday. The party's demands were questions on the functioning of the Election Commission, repeal of the Special Intensive Review (SIR) and repeal of the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) appointment law. A large number of CJP supporters arrived amid tight police security. The police took him into custody as soon as they got the chance.

During the demonstration, about 200 workers associated with right-wing and Hindutva organizations also reached there. Some people told in their introduction that they were from Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. They raised slogans against CJP and in support of the police. According to the report, Delhi Police neither detained these workers nor took any action against them. This has raised questions on the police action.
