On the other hand, Ishan Kishan also batted aggressively. Together, both of them added 108 runs in just 40 balls for the second wicket. Thanks to their partnership, India's score reached 115/1 and the team seemed to be crossing 250 runs.
Roston Chase turned the match in one over
As soon as Ishan Kishan was out, the pace of the Indian innings came to a halt. In the ninth over, Roston Chase came forward and got Ishaan stumped while playing. Shai Hope scattered the balls brilliantly behind the wicket. Ishaan scored 37 runs on 18 balls. This was the third time in this series, when Chase made him his victim.
In the same over, Chase also got Shreyas Iyer out LBW. Shreyas could score only 1 run. After this, Abhishek Sharma's explosive innings also did not last long. He lost his wicket while trying to play a big shot on a short ball from Shamar Springer.
Naman Dheer also got caught at long off after scoring 10 runs. Within no time, India's score increased from 115/1 to 124/4 and West Indies made a comeback in the match.
Two run outs spoiled India's game
The Indian team also suffered the loss of two run-outs in the last overs. Tilak Verma was unfortunately run out after scoring 28 runs. Akshar Patel scored 20 runs, but he too was run out due to lack of coordination with Arshdeep Singh.
In this way the Indian team was all out after scoring 223 runs in 20 overs. Team India, which was once moving towards a big score, had to bear the brunt of the failure of the middle order and run outs.
Arshdeep Singh gave initial shock to West Indies
West Indies, which set out to chase the target of 224 runs, did not have a good start. Arshdeep Singh bowled captain Shai Hope in the second over on the score of just 5 runs. After this Shimron Hetmyer tried to handle the innings. He scored 43 runs in 26 balls, which included 4 sixes and 2 fours.

Puran raised hopes
During the West Indies innings, it was not Kyle Mayers but Kamil Puran who tried to revive the contest by scoring quick runs. After struggling in the beginning, he continued to bat aggressively in the 11th over of Naman Dhir and hit three sixes.
However, Dheer made a comeback and dismissed Puran on a personal score of 42 runs in 27 balls. After this, Arshdeep Singh almost ensured India's victory by taking the wickets of Sherfane Rutherford (32) and Keemo Paul (10).
