After the puja in the temple, Rekha Gupta while wishing Navratri said that with the grace of Mother Goddess, the country should continuously progress and there should be peace in the society. He expressed hope that those who are creating chaos in Delhi and giving priority to personal political interests should also be inspired to follow the right path.
This statement of the Chief Minister has come after the protests in the capital. According to the news, more than 7,000 protesters trying to gather around Jantar Mantar on Saturday were detained by Delhi Police and security agencies. These included many political workers including leaders of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP).
Earlier, Rekha Gupta had also targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal. He alleged that both the leaders are allegedly trying to spoil the political atmosphere of Delhi through CJP.
Rekha Gupta said that in a democracy, it is the right of every citizen to protest and express their views. However, disrupting the movement of people or causing damage to public property due to protests cannot be accepted. She said, “I would say that those evil people who do not consider their own interest in the interest of the country, those sinful people who are troubled by the progress of the country, who want to create such an environment in the country which causes suffering to the common people, who cause damage to public property. May Mother give wisdom to all such people or else punish them.”
