Telugu actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna recently paid a visit to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and former superstar Thalapathy Vijay in Chennai.
The meeting, which took place ahead of the theatrical release of the duo’s upcoming multi-lingual film Ranabaali, left a lasting impression on the stars.
A Warm Reception and Heartfelt Notes
Sharing moments from their interaction on social media, Vijay Deverakonda expressed deep admiration for the newly-elected Chief Minister, highlighting his gracious hospitality despite a demanding schedule.
”Had the most beautiful time with the dearest Thalapathy Vijay Sir. Even after a long day, he received us with so much love and shared such personal insights into life, work and the world. One meeting and sir is already a favourite,” Deverakonda wrote.
Rashmika Mandanna, who previously shared screen space with Thalapathy Vijay in the 2023 film Varisu, also reflected on her journey from being a long-time admirer to a co-star, and now witnessing his transition into political leadership.

The high-profile courtesy meeting comes just days ahead of the release of Ranabaali, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna. Directed by Rahul Sakrityan and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and T-Series, the film is slated to hit theaters globally on October 16 across multiple languages.
