Today, on 12.10.2026, programs were organized in Zone Nagar, Ganganagar, Yamunanagar of Mission Shakti Phase-6.0 under the able guidance of Police Commissioner of Mission Shakti Phase-6.0, Sir Com. Prayagraj and under the leadership of Additional Police Commissioner Law and Order and Deputy Commissioner of Police Headquarters, for security, respect and self-reliance of women and girls in the state.
A foot march was taken out by the police stations of Zone Nagar, Ganga Nagar, Yamuna Nagar for the safety, respect and self-reliance of women and girls in which local public representatives, senior officers and a large number of girl students from schools/colleges participated. A short film was screened from an LED vehicle and publicity and awareness was created by distributing publicity materials to women and girls by displaying posters and banners.
Programs were organized by Mission Shakti, Mahila Beat and Anti Romeo police officers/employees in Zone Nagar, Ganganagar, Yamunanagar which are as follows –
● Zone Nagar – Major places under the police station area are Police Station Dhumanganj, Khuldabad Market Police Station Khuldabad, Baba Square Ashok Nagar to Rajapur Hanuman Mandir Police Station Cantt, Police Station Kareli near 60 Feet Road United Square, Police Station Atarsuiya around the police station area, Sabzi Mandi to Rambagh Police Station Kotwali, Govindpur Taxi Stand to Uptran Square Police Station Shivkuti, Police station around the police station area. Major places under Muthiganj police station area are Colonelganj police station, Shahganj police station area, Civil School of police station area, Peepal Gav police station airport, Kidganj under police station area, Manauri Road police station Puramufti, Jhunsi police station area under police station area, Daraganj under police station area.
● Zone Ganganagar – From Janghai Tiraha in Town Handia to Bulla Sweet House and below the flyover, Police Station Handia, Sahso and under police station area Saraiinayat, area around Phaphamau market, Police Station Phaphamau, Tharwai Bazar, Tharwai, Nawabganj market up to Kaurihar, Police Station Nawabganj, Imperial School to Block Bazar, Mauaima police station, under police station area Bahria, Kathara. Market police station Sarayammarej, Lochanganj police station Phulpur from police station gate to Sampoorna Kasba, Soraon police station from Sikandra intersection to Shivgarh intersection.
● Zone Yamunanagar – Chilla Mod Police Station Bara, Village Akhari Shahpur, Police Station Meja around Mahila Chaupal and Puja Pandals, Shri Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Inter College Chilla Gauhani Lalapur Police Station Lalapur, Aryavart Academy Town Korao Police Station Koraon, Village Ekouni Police Station Kaundhiara, Block Headquarters to Ram Bhawan, Police Station Shankargarh, starting from Police Station Kheri to Kheri Bazar Tiraha. Via Shri Parmanand Inter College and Smt. Badama Devi Junior High School, up to Police Station Kheri, Gram Panchayat Survadlapur, Police Station Manda, via Shiv Mandir Tiraha, Bela Square, Sadhu Kuti Square, Madan Mohan Malviya Inter College, up to Police Station Karchhana, under Police Station area Ghurpur, Town Korao, Police Station area Korao.
● Foot patrolling by Anti-Romeo Squad and Mahila Beat/Mission Shakti Kendra police officers/employees and patrolling by PRV, special deployment of Mahila Police Force at various temples, religious places, fairs and other public places, school colleges, intersections in crowded areas during Navratri, organizing Mahila Chaupal in puja pandals and running intensive campaign by Anti Romeo Squad. While counseling the police personnel deployed on the spot to take strict action against them, they are being encouraged to behave decently with the general public.
Central/State Government's various helpline numbers – Women Power Line 1090, Emergency Police Service 112, Child Line 1098, Chief Minister Helpline 1076, Ambulance Help Line 102 for pregnant women and newborns, Ambulance Service 108, Cyber Help Line 1930, and Mission Shakti Kendra are being widely publicized to ensure that more and more women and girls get the benefit of this facility. By inviting women from different sections of the police station area in Shakti Kendras, daily awareness programs are being organized regarding the works, objectives of Mission Shakti Kendra and the services provided by this center and wide publicity is being spread about good-touch, bad-touch, women's safety, respect and self-reliance. Extensive foot patrolling by police and foot patrolling by PRV are being done at public places and sensitive hot spots. And for the prevention of crime against women, awareness is being created by giving comprehensive information about various laws.
Women/girls were made aware by giving detailed information about the public welfare schemes of the Central/State Government – Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Yojana, Destitute Women Pension, UP State Rural Livelihood Mission, Pradhan Mantri Matritva Vandana Yojana etc.
