Pilibhit Triple Murder: The dispute over the account of Ramlila Mela in Amaria area of ​​Pilibhit district of Uttar Pradesh has turned bloody. Three people have been killed in firing during an altercation over money transactions. Apart from two cousins ​​Ankit Gupta and Mohit Gupta, 15-year-old teenager Kunal Srivastav is also included in the dead. According to the information, the Ramlila committee meeting was held on Monday night at around 9:30 pm. In this meeting, the financial transactions of the fair and the issue of presenting old accounts were discussed. Meanwhile, a brawl started between the two parties. Eventually, the situation escalated to such an extent that the two groups exchanged blows followed by firing. The assailants allegedly fired bullets from other weapons, including a licensed rifle. Ankit Gupta and Kunal Srivastava died on the spot due to bullet injuries. A critically injured Mohit Gupta was rushed to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

Three murders left the police system running

As soon as the incident was reported, a police convoy including Superintendent of Police Sukirti Madhav reached the spot. The police took action to control the situation. Additional police force has been deployed in the area to prevent any untoward incident.
