New Delhi: Apple is going to hold its special product launch event ‘Welcome Home’ today on October 13. The company can present its first smart home display in this event. It is discussed that this device will be a combination of a screen, smart speaker and home control system. According to reports, the name of this device may be HomeView. Earlier it was being called HomePad. According to the report of Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, it may have A18 chip which will handle all its smart features.
How will the new device be?
If leaks are to be believed, it will have a square screen of about 6 inches. It will look like a small iPad, but its function will not be just to watch videos. This will become the control center of the house. Apple can bring it in two designs. One model will be meant to be placed on a table or kitchen counter, with a base with speakers underneath. The second model will be for wall mounting.

Reports are saying that some of Apple’s built-in apps will run in it, but a separate App Store will not be available. That means the user will not be able to download the desired app like iPhone.
HomePod mini and Apple TV can be glimpsed
The new HomePod mini and Apple TV 4K can also be glimpsed at the event. The new HomePod mini is expected to have a better processor and Siri AI features. There is talk of getting A19 chip in the new Apple TV 4K, which will improve the experience of content and smart home control on the TV.
