Paris named world’s second best city for travelers

France’s Paris was voted the world’s second best city just after Thailand’s Bangkok in this year’s Readers’ Choice Awards by British travel magazine Condé Nast Traveller.

“Paris has enchanted generations of travelers with its exceptional dining scene, iconic landmarks, world-class art collections and unmistakably romantic atmosphere,” the magazine described.

The Eiffel Tower remains the city’s most recognizable symbol, while the Louvre offers an unparalleled journey through art and history. Nearby, the restored Notre-Dame Cathedral stands as a testament to Paris’s architectural heritage.

Visitors can explore the chic boutiques of Le Marais, wander the winding streets of Montmartre and round off their days in some of the capital’s most luxurious hotels.

Paris is one of the most visited cities in the world, attracting over 30 million visitors each year.

The Readers’ Choice Awards, selected by over 800,000 readers, is the longest-running honor in the travel industry that recognizes excellence in hotels, resorts, and destinations worldwide.
